Hours: 24 hours per week (minimum). Pay: £13.61 per hour. Guaranteed minimum 24 hours work, earning at least £326 per week. Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Key part of the management team; support manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service.
• Run the shop in manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed; maintain a safe, clean, tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, develop team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• People person, able to build strong relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Experience as supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries (preferred).
• Successful completion of Employment Verification check and Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) upon offer.
