Retail Supervisor - Full Time

• Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week.

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway. This permanent, 39 hour full time position offers a variety of shifts, 5 days per week.

Full time roles require flexibility throughout the week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

We offer a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.61, ensuring a minimum of 39 hours and a weekly pay of at least £530. Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team and lead the shop to operate efficiently.
• Run the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed in a safe, clean and tidy environment.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications & Experience

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• A "people person" who builds strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable - a small team relies on you to perform at your best.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is a plus.
• Willingness to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS / Disclosure Scotland check if successful.
