Retail Supervisor - Full Time

Position: Full time, 39 hours per week, worked across 5 days.

Pay: £13.61 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team and lead the shop team to run efficiently and deliver excellent customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• A people person who builds strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, able to lead a small team and meet expectations consistently.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is desirable, though we welcome those eager to start a retail management career.
• Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check if offered the position.
