Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf. The position is permanent and full time, with a 39 hour work week across five days.

Hours & Pay

Hours: 39 hours per week, spread over five days, with flexible shifts including weekends. Hourly pay: £13.61, guaranteeing a minimum weekly wage of £530.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager and take full responsibility for shop operations in the manager's absence
• Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain safety, cleanliness, and tidiness
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop and manage a team of retail assistants
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work
• Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small team environment
• Prior experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries is an advantage, but entry level candidates are welcomed
• Ability to pass an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check
