Retail Sunday Assistant (Seaford)

Retail Store Assistant
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus benefits
Location: Seaford shop
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: Part time 6 hours per week
Reports to: Shop Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday.
• Take keyholder responsibility (training provided).
• Support a talented and diverse team of volunteers.
• Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock.
• Generate new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
• Use customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
• Perform manual handling and physical activity as required.

Qualifications and skills

• A working knowledge of great customer service.
• Experience in a lively and vibrant environment.
• Adaptability in changing situations, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commercial awareness.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.
• Flexibility to cover store needs on a rota basis.
