Location: Tesco, Harrogate, HG1 3DW
Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour
Contract: 42 Hours Per Week
Working Pattern: Monday to Saturday
Requirements: Valid SIA Licence and Own Transport

About the Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for confident, professional, and reliable Retail Security Officers to support our Tesco store in Harrogate.

This is a permanent core role offering 42 hours per week, providing a visible security presence to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Shift Pattern

• Tues day - Sunday: 14:00 - 22:00
• Thursday - Friday: 13:00 - 22:00
• Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00

Flexibility may be required to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling the store to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues
• Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitoring the premises and responding to incidents
• Completing accurate reports and recording observations
• Supporting colleagues with store security requirements
• Managing challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

What We're Looking For

• Valid SIA Licence
• Own Transport
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, confident, and reliable approach
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Flexible approach to working shifts
• Full 5-year checkable employment history
• Previous security experience is desirable but not essential
