Retail Planning Specialist

A specialist planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Planning Specialist with experience or interest in retail planning. This role offers the opportunity to work with a national client base across major retail and commercial portfolios.

Opportunities are available across multiple offices including Manchester, Bristol, London and Birmingham.

This is a unique opportunity to develop expertise within a niche and commercially important sector.

• Advising on retail planning strategies and policy
• Preparing planning applications and supporting documentation
• Undertaking impact assessments and sequential testing
• Supporting national client portfolios
• Liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders
• Contributing to wider commercial strategy and client advice

• MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership
• Experience within consultancy or retail-focused planning
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Interest in developing sector specific expertise
• Commercial awareness and client facing ability
