We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Openshaw, Greater Manchester. This is a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days each week, including weekday evenings and full weekends.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (age dependent).

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcomed with a friendly smile.
• Help customers locate items.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, offering packing help and a courteous goodbye.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries and organise shelves.
• Work with the team to maintain daily and weekly routines for safety, cleanliness and tidiness.

You Will Need

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, managing deliveries, tills, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliability as an important team member for customers and colleagues.
• Flexibility to cover shifts when team members are on holiday; rota's are planned three weeks in advance.
