Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week. Pay: £10.95 £12.81 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends. This position requires availability for weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. It may not be suitable if you are not available to work at these times.

Pay & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves for customers to buy
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do - from handling deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers, completing cleaning and stock rotation routines and more
• Reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team and your colleagues and customers will depend on you to do your best on each shift
• A bit of flexibility with your shifts. When other members of your team are on holiday we may need you to work slightly different hours; rotations are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments outside of work are taken into consideration
