Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.
Pay: £10.95- £12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Wood Green, Haringey, Greater London. This is a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends. Please note that you must be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday; if you cannot meet this schedule, this role may not be suitable for you.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase.
• Collaborate with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks: deliveries, till, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable and dependable as an important part of a small team.
• Some flexibility with shifts; rota's are planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work are considered.
• Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the position.
