Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Kirkby In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent part time position with a variety of shifts, a minimum of 12 hours across 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Availability: weekday evenings and all day Saturday & Sunday.

Pay & Benefits

Pay varies with age:

• Ages : £10.95 per hour.
• Age 21+: £12.81 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the store safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and flexible between tasks such as deliveries, till service, customer help, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable, dependable as an important part of a small team.
• Can adapt to shift changes, with rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Will complete an Employment Verification check if offered the position.
