Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

• Hours: 16 hours across 3 days per week
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Acock's Green, West Midlands. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. This position may not be suitable for you if you are not available to work at these times.

Pay & benefits

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages = £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour

As one of our retail assistants you will

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for our customers to buy
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work
• To enjoy being busy as there is always something to do-jumping from putting out deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers on the shop floor and completing cleaning and stock rotation routines
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team that depends on your best performance on each shift
• Some flexibility with shifts; when other team members are off, you may be required to work slightly different hours to cover for them
• To complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position
