Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.

Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour, depending on age.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Warrington, Cheshire. This permanent part time position requires a minimum of 8 hours per week spread over 2 days, including weekday evenings and full days on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy - jumping from deliveries to serving at the till, helping customers, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable - an important part of a small team that depends on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
• Some flexibility with shifts - cover for colleagues when needed, with rotas planned three weeks in advance and consideration of other commitments.
• Pass an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
