Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Inverness, Highland. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days per week, including weekends.

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. This position may not be suitable if you are not available to work at these times.

Job Details

• Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour (ages : £10.95/hour; 21+: £12.81/hour)

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for sale.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and able to switch between deliveries, till service, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team that depends on you every shift.
• Flexibility with shift coverage when other team members are off or on holiday.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check (sent via email if hired).
