We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Brynmawr, Blaenau Gwent. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days from 12 each week, including weekends. This position requires availability for weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks including delivery, till, shop floor, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable and dependable as part of a small team
• Flexible with shifts and willing to adjust to cover when other team members are off
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check if offered the position
