• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Forfar, Angus. This is a permanent part time position with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position requires availability for early morning shifts. It may not be suitable for individuals who cannot work early.

As one of our retail assistants you will

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; the job involves juggling deliveries, till service, customer help, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability, as you are a key part of a small team that relies on you to perform at each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts; you may need to cover for colleagues on holidays, with rotas planned three weeks in advance and your commitments considered.
