We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Walton Road, Liverpool. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days from 7 each week, including weekends. Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts starting early in the morning. This position may not be suitable for you if you are not available for early morning work.

Hours, Pay and Benefits

• Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (depending on age).
• Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, free uniform, life assurance, virtual GP, discounted services (cinema, gym, travel).

Pay Details by Age

• Ages 16-20: £10.95 per hour.
• Ages 21 and above: £12.81 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into the freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable, dependable and dependable for each shift; the team and customers depend on you to perform.
• Flexibility with shifts; ability to cover for colleagues with slightly different hours.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check.
