We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Hyndburn Retail Park, Blackburn. This permanent part time role involves working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends. The position requires availability for early morning shifts.

Key Details

• Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (16-20: £10.95, 21+: £12.81)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers locate items and offer assistance on the shop floor.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, including packing assistance and courteous sign offs.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks - from deliveries to till service to cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable and dependable; a vital part of a small team.
• Flexible with shifts - may need to cover different hours when teammates are off.
• Must pass an Employment Verification check.
