We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Stamfordham Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. We offer a permanent part time position with a minimum of 12 hours worked across 3 days each week, including weekends.

• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (based on age)

Key Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, offering assistance with packing and giving a friendly goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; able to juggle deliveries, till work, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable and dependable; performs best on each shift.
• Flexibility around shift changes; willing to adjust hours to cover for team members.
