We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The position is a permanent part time role working a variety of shifts with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekends.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 16 hours across 3 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 £12.81 per hour (dependent on age).

Pay Breakdown

• years old: £10.95 per hour.
• 21 years or older: £12.81 per hour.

As one of our retail assistants you will:

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, able to switch tasks from deliveries to till service, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliability, as you are an important part of a small team that depends on your best effort on each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts; other members may need you to cover slightly different hours. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and out of work commitments are considered.
