Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.

Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour (based on age).

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in King Street, Blackburn. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, including moving between deliveries, till work, shop floor duties, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable - as an important part of a small team, customers and colleagues will depend on you to do your best on each shift.
• A bit of flexibility with shifts; rota is planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments are considered.
