We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

Pay depends on age: 16-20: £10.95 per hour; 21+: £12.81 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; can jump from deliveries to the till, helping customers, completing cleaning and stock rotation routines, and more.
• Reliable; an important part of a small team; colleagues and customers depend on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
• Some flexibility for shifts; may need to cover for colleagues on holidays; rota's planned three weeks in advance with commitments taken into consideration.
