Retail Assistant - Part Time Position Details

• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week (including weekends)
• Pay: £10.95 per hour for ages 16-20; £12.81 per hour for ages 21+

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Operate tills efficiently, offering packing assistance and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, placing products onto freezers and shelves promptly.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain daily and weekly routines keeping the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, and hard working attitude.
• Comfortable in a busy environment, able to juggle multiple tasks (deliveries, till, floor, cleaning, stock rotation).
• Reliable and dependable; key team member.
• Flexibility with shift changes; aware of rota planning three weeks in advance and considering personal commitments.
