We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Bell Green, Coventry. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days per week, including weekends.

Position Details

• Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour - age dependent (see below)

• Ages : £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, able to juggle deliveries, till work, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation tasks.
• Reliable, dependable team member expected to perform at each shift and support the team.
• Flexible with shifts; may need to cover for teammates on holidays.
• Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
