Retail Assistant - Part Time Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Stafford, Staffordshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Schedule and Pay

• Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour.

Pay & Benefits

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for.
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for our customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy with constant tasks such as deliveries, till service, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable and dependable to the team on each shift.
• A bit of flexibility with shifts, including occasional variation to cover other team members.
• Will complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
