We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde. This permanent part time position includes a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 2 days per week, including weekends.

Hours & Pay

• Hours: 12 hours across 2 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (dependent on age).

Pay by age: Ages : £10.95 per hour. Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• Enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to multitask (deliveries, till, floor assistance, cleaning, stock rotation).
• Reliable and dependable as an important part of a small team.
• Flexible with shifts, including occasional overtime to cover teammates.
• Successful Employment Verification check (if offered the position).
