We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Chadderton, Oldham. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 5 days per week, including weekends.

• Hours: 20 hours across 5 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering pack up help and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves ready for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• Enjoy being busy: moving between deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable, dependable and not letting the team down.
• Some flexibility with shifts; rota planned three weeks in advance and commitments are considered.
• Complete Employment Verification check if offered.
