Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week.

Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Northampton, Northamptonshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages = £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do: from deliveries to till service, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team that depends on you to do your best on each shift.
• A bit of flexibility with shifts. When teammates are off or on holiday, we may need you to cover slightly different hours. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance, and your outside commitments are considered when planning shifts.
• Complete an Employment Verification check if offered the advertised position. The check will be sent via email and confirm your previous employment history against HMRC records.
