We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Clacton-On-Sea, Essex. The position is a permanent part time role with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 per hour for ages 16-20; £12.81 per hour for ages 21+.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and a simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do, such as delivering, serving at the till, helping customers on the shop floor, completing cleaning and stock rotation routines, and more.
• Reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
• A bit of flexibility with your shifts; rota's are planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work will always be considered.
• Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
