Salary (£40000- £45000)
Full time (40-50hours)
We are currently recruiting for our Brand-new restaurant and bar located in the heart of ST Pauls.
As a restaurant manager, you will lead and inspire a deducted team to deliver the very best in-service standards. You will be required to manage the front of house team and ensure excellent restaurant service from the whole team, Lead by example, creating a team effort and keeping training in all areas up to date.
The restaurant manager must have the following skills/experience;
Have worked within a restaurant manager role for a minimum of 3 years, with operational experience.

Roles/ Responsibilities
Maximising bar sales by using upselling and suggestive selling techniques and ensuring that all bar displays are presentable and appealing
Maximising profits by making sure costs are in line with budgets when ordering supplies
Improving service and hospitality delivery by quality contract and managing food and drink offerings
Improving the knowledge and skills of the restaurant team through regular training, development & coaching
Ensuring all employees are following their job specification
Managing, recruiting and training staff (with a strong emphasis on motivational techniques)
Creating weekly time sheets and managing weekly budgets
Conducting staff appraisal and rewards
Continuous quality checks on drinks, food, customer service, cleaning and monitoring the performance of all staff members
Managing cashing-ups, writing night reports, dealing with petty-cash and reporting to head office
Managing the floor at all times (includes but does not limit to cleanness, allocating larger bookings, dealing with customer issues, communicating with security, quality control, dealing with promoters, event managers and government authorities)
Arranging meetings with door staff (Security) and addressing problems and improvements
Ensuring all health & safety folders are filled correctly and updated accordingly
Ensuring all licensing activities and responsibilities are followed correctly and adhere to all licensing regulations as specified by the licensing laws
EPOS till management, updating the till system, reporting any issues directly with the company, training new staff on how to use it
To ensure that all staff are familiar with Menus - to confidently handle customer complaints - to ensure that all staff can take orders and put through orders correctly using EPOS system.
To plan weekly rotas according to business requirements ensuring that over/understaffing does not occur
Thorough awareness of stock control
Ensuring all booking enquires are allocated on daily basis
Checking all invoices and ordering sheets
Operating weekly stocktaking and writing reports for head office
Attending weekly meetings at head office and working closely with event manager
