Restaurant Bartender

Professional and Experienced Bartender Wanted for Restaurant in Premium Cocktail Lounge

Located in the heart of the Cathedral quarter on the Bailgate, we are looking for experienced, professional, enthusiastic and sociable cocktail bartenders.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
• Drink preparation and serving
• Developing a knowledge of our products and cocktails
• Ensuring the bar and bar floor is tidy & clean to maintain the right atmosphere
• Adhering to all the standards required of the hotel
• Following procedures outlined by heads of departments and supervisors
• Serving bar food
• Upselling and recommending menu items
• Standing for long periods of time in a fast paced environment

You will be part of a growing team of amicable, ambitious and inspiring bartenders. You will have a strong work ethic, time management, excellent people skills and a total commitment to exceeding guest expectations. You will have a good level of written and spoken English as well as numeracy skills. You must be motivated to work in the hospitality industry.

You must be confident, a team player and work well under pressure for a continuous amount of time.

Training will be provided if successful but bar experience is required.

The job will be mornings, evenings and or weekends, so flexibility in working hours will be required.

Requirements:

• Smart appearance & polite
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for customer service
• Bar experience
• Hospitality experience

Salary: Above national Minimum Wage + Tips.

Start date: October.

Job Types: Part time, Zero hours contract.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour.

Additional pay: Tips, Service charge, Discounted or free food.

Schedule: 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Night shift, Weekend availability.

Experience: Hospitality 1 year (preferred), Customer Service 1 year (preferred), Bartending 1 year (required).
