As our Resourcing Senior Consultant, you'll operate across our complete resourcing service portfolio - including our regional jobs board (WMJobs), contingent workforce services (WMTemps), executive recruitment and interim management - with particular accountability for driving growth and customer success in our innovative WMTalent Acquisition platform plus expanding our resourcing consultancy services.

What You'll Do
Digital Innovation & Service Leadership
You'll take strategic responsibility for our WMTalentAcquisition platform ensuring its continued success and growth through enhanced contract management and service delivery excellence.This includes delivering projects to drive systems and process improvements through the WMTalentAcquisition service, while overseeing business development, client retention, and implementation for new customers.
Resourcing Consultancy & Regional Impact
A core focus will be delivering bespoke resourcing consultancy services to councils and the wider public sector, primarily in the West Midlands.You'll grow our resourcing consultancy by enhancing existing services and developing new offerings that deliver both strategic and practical improvements aligned to regional partner needs.As an example, consultancy areas may include strategic workforce planning, developing resourcing business partner capability and high performing teams, interim management services and process review and improvement.
Thought Leadership
Supporting our customer-facing resourcing networks, you'll facilitate knowledge sharing, participate in organisation-wide initiatives including case studies and podcasts, and create marketing materials that promote our evolving service offer.Working closely with the Principal Consultant, you'll contribute to annual service plans, income targets, and strategic proposals that position WME as an industry leader.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a forward-thinking professional with expertise in maximising the impact of digital recruitment systems, consultancy delivery, stakeholder management and proven ability to manage complex service contracts while driving innovation across the public sector.
You'll have hands-on experience with ATS and digital recruitment technology, including optimising recruitment systems from either an in-house or consultancy perspective.It's important to note that we aren't looking for a technical expert (we're got Tribepad for that), but you will need to understand what makes a great ATS and how to support our customers achieve their ambitions through the systems we deliver.Alongside this understanding, your background will demonstrate contract management excellence and commercial acumen, with a track record of service growth and portfolio development.
We're looking for strategic expertise in resourcing, HR, or digital service delivery within public sector environments, complemented by strong consultancy skills.You'll have a passion and expertise in a particular area of resourcing delivery such as strategic workforce planning, interim management, emerging technologies (such as AI in recruitment), developing business partner capability within resourcing teams or process improvement.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, strong consultancy and advisory skills, collaborative leadership approach, and commitment to service excellence and innovation will be essential to your success in this role.
