Role Title: Resolution Case Lead
Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Permanent: Full time
Salary: £ 43,938 - £47,770
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new Resolution Case Lead to work from our Deeside Campus.
The Resolution Case Lead is vital to maintaining a fair, transparent, and supportive environment for learning and work. You will lead the college's integrity and resolution framework, conducting impartial and thorough case reviews into formal complaints, colleague / learner disciplinary matters, and malpractice. As a technical lead, you will manage complex cases to resolve individual issues and drive positive cultural change aligned with the College's Strategic Plan.
What you will doLead the development of people-centred case management & restorative methodologies for the college.
Provide advice to colleagues, college managers and senior leaders.
Manage complex cases including highly sensitive cases involving significant legal or reputational risk across the college, including formal complaints, employee disciplinary issues, learner conduct matters, academic/assessment malpractice or any other issues that require case management.
Develop clear and comprehensive case management plans, setting objectives, scope and timelines.
Conduct structured and objective interviews with all relevant parties, ensuring accurate and detailed records are maintained.
Gather, review and analyse evidence from various sources (documents, digital records, witness statements) to establish facts.
Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above
Level 2 Digital Literacy or is willing to work towards
A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field such as Law, Governance, Education Management, or Human Resources, commensurate with the level of leadership and technical expertise required.
Experience of managing & conducting legally complex case management within a highly regulated environment (FE / HE / Public Sector), presenting established facts
Demonstrated experience in applying regulation to policy and procedure
Experience of interpreting complex legislation, regulatory frameworks, and policy
Experience of restorative practice and mediation
Welsh skills are desirable for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.
