About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a well-established children's residential service. You will support young people with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), and those at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).
You will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in the home

Act as a positive role model, offering guidance and emotional support
-
Deliver safe, high-quality care as part of an integrated care team
-
Support education, life skills, and personal development
-
Maintain accurate records, care plans, risk assessments, and reports
-
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and care regulations
-
Engage with external professionals, families, and the local community
Essential Requirements
-
QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People)
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a registered residential children's home
-
Experience supporting young people with EBD, CSE, self-harm, attachment disorders, and challenging behaviours
-
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and key working
-
Full UK Driving Licence

Registered with Social Care Wales and on the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service

IT literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
