Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 DOE
Location: Norwich, Norfolk

SJC Legal is currently working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property team in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancer looking to join a supportive and established department, handling a varied residential property caseload with opportunities for long-term career development.

The Role

• Manage your own Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Handle Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages and Transfers of Equity
• Undertake title reviews, raise and respond to enquiries and prepare reports on title
• Manage exchange of contracts and completion processes
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client care
• Build and maintain relationships with local agents and professional contacts

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced unqualified Conveyancer
• Have experience independently managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload
• Be confident handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions
• Have strong technical conveyancing knowledge and excellent attention to detail
• Be highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Have excellent communication and client care skills
• Be a positive team player who enjoys working within a collaborative environment
