Residential Children's Support Worker

We're recruiting Residential Child Care Officers to work in our Children's Residential Homes in Doncaster, supporting looked-after children and young people, including those with complex behaviours, disabilities, or health needs.

Key details

• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 37 hours (full-time) or 18.5 hours (part-time)
• Salary: £28,132 per year
• Extras: £43.12 per sleep-in shift + 8.5% unsocial hours allowance
• DBS: Enhanced DBS required

About the role

You'll help provide a safe, stable, and caring home, build positive relationships, support children through challenging behaviours, and act as a positive role model.

What we're looking for

• Passion for working with children and young people
• Experience or transferable skills working with young people
• Good communication skills and resilience
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Residential Childcare training
