Our long-term trusted client who acts as an independent safety, standards, and research body for Great Britain's rail network is hiring a Project Manager who has experience of managing research and standards change projects within the transportation sector. They are offering up to £54,300 to be based in London (near Fenchurch Street) on a hybrid basis for 12-month FTC + health/dental + 30 days holiday + bonus and more.
We are seeking a Research Project Manager to design, develop, and deliver research projects (up to £200k in value), ensuring objectives are met on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. You will lead project teams, manage stakeholders and suppliers, and ensure outputs meet the needs of the industry.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver research projects (up to £200k in value) to agreed objectives, timescales, and quality standards.
- Lead project teams, manage stakeholders and suppliers, and ensure outputs meet industry needs.
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM PFQ) or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing research or standards-related projects.
- Proven track record in managing projects successfully with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
