Research Engineer - Multimodal / LLMs / Emotion Understanding - Global Tech Giant

We're working with a true leader in research, development, and innovation, and they are looking for multiple Affective Computing Research Engineers to join their team.

This global technology powerhouse invests heavily into R&D to make huge technological advancements in various sectors and is considered a top global employer with one of the largest patent portfolios in the world.

In this role you will carry our R&D across multimodal learning, affective computing and also AI that is aware of emotion. You will develop algorithms and models to enhance emotional understanding. You will be working with multimodal LLM's and therefore experience/knowledge in this area would be great.

These positions are 12 month contract positions, which will likely extend for multiple years due to the nature of the research projects. Permanent positions are sometimes offered on a case by case basis.

This is an on-site position based on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

For this Affective Computing Research Engineer position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following:

- PhD or Masters in similar area from a highly rated university

- Experience within the areas of multimodal LLMs in applications related to areas around speech processing, emotion recognition etc

- Experience with Python
