The International Research on Energy Systems Integration, Education & Environment for Sustainability and Innovation Center (IRESI), is a research centre housed in the School of Business. IRESI's research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations, and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape.

We are seeking an engaged and community-minded Youth Committee Member to support the Research Ireland-funded RENEW project. This is a part time role, 0.4FTE, with stakeholder events and outreach activities that may occur outside of the standard working hours.

This role is designed for an individual with a strong interest in youth engagement, inclusive design, and environmentally focused solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring that youth perspectives are represented in the project's activities and outputs.

They will occasionally assist with stakeholder engagement events, outreach initiatives, and the co creation of ideas that reflect the needs and priorities of young people. This is an opportunity to gain experience in collaborative research, public engagement, and inclusive innovation, while contributing to a project with a strong environmental and societal focus.

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.

Closing Date: 05-Jul-:30hrs (local Irish time) on Sunday, 5th of July 2026.
