12 Months Specific Purpose Whole-Time Post

The Sustainable Food System Research Group (SFRG) led by Dr Aylin Sahin is a team of enthusiastic and ambitious researchers working on solutions to produce healthy food products without harming the environment. The selected candidate will work on an EU-funded project (Sustain-a-Bite) which investigates the potential of fermentation technology for upcycling fruit and vegetable side streams. The project focuses on minimal processing techniques to produce plant-based foods with improved physicochemical and nutritional properties which are highly consumer-accepted.
