Rent Recovery Officer needed in Basildon

This is a temporary contract initially paying £20.00ph PAYE

The successful candidate will administer the billing, collection and recovery of rents and related charges, ensuring all decisions are made accurately, lawfully and in line with policy. They will work independently to manage their own caseload, applying up to date knowledge of housing law, court protocols and appropriate recovery methods while promoting tenancy sustainment and safeguarding vulnerable residents.

They will prepare clear and accurate documentation, including witness statements and eviction warrant reports, and liaise professionally with courts, enforcement agents and the police where required. The successful candidate will remain alert to potential fraud, uphold high standards of quality and accuracy, and hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle insured for business use.
