Requirements: Having previous work on a children's animated series is essential, along with experience in rigged animation using Adobe Animate.

Animatics Artist

Closing date: July 19, 2026

Requirements: Ideal candidate will be able to tell a clear story through uncluttered compositions, understand schedule constraints and have evidence of creating storyboards and timing out/editing animatics.

Contract Type: Fixed, 9-10 months

• Experience in rigged animation using Adobe Animate.
• Strong understanding of traditional 2D animation principles.
• Strong effects animation experience is a bonus.
• Storyboard scenes and edit them into an animatic, all within Adobe Animate.
• Solid technical drawing skills, with an eye for strong compositions, clear silhouettes, and efficient action.
• Experience with timing out your own storyboards as animatics.
• Strong character animation skills are a bonus.
• Understanding of the 2D animation pipeline and how shot-making affects it.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
