Remarketing Manager

We are currently working in partnership with a leading automotive organisation who are looking to appoint a Remarketing Manager on a permanent basis.

This is a hybrid position, with the successful candidate required to be based from either Slough or Coventry, with travel to suppliers, auction houses and dealers when required.

The salary for the role is £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, with working hours of Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the remarketing of vehicles, ensuring that sale prices are maximised while supporting the wider business across a variety of vehicle disposal channels.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience within vehicle remarketing, including experience working with Auction Houses. Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and the ability to build and manage external supplier relationships are essential.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Implementing strategies across various vehicle sale channels
• Managing auction sales programmes and relationships with auction houses, franchise retailers, car supermarkets and trade buyers
• Managing supplier relationships and conducting regular performance reviews to ensure KPIs are achieved
• Managing vehicle sales volumes, stock, economic objectives and overall disposal performance
• Authorising vehicle refurbishment and auditing vehicles held in supplier stock
• Providing accurate and timely analysis and reporting across all remarketing channels
• Producing monthly KPI reports and presentations for the department
• Working closely with Finance and Residual Value teams to provide relevant reporting and disposal data
• Managing the portfolio to proactively address contract extensions and movements against forecast residual values
• Maintaining departmental processes and work instructions in line with compliance requirements
• Supporting internal and external audits where required
• Adhering to FCA regulations and requirements

Experience required:

• At least 5 years' experience within vehicle remarketing is essential
• Proven experience working with Auction Houses is essential
• Experience managing and building relationships with external suppliers is essential
• Experience within manufacturers' approved used car programmes is desirable
• Experience using digital remarketing platforms is desirable
• Knowledge of the Contract Hire and Leasing industry is desirable
• UK Driving Licence
