Relief Nursery Practitioner

Role

Relief Nursery Practitioner - Berryfields Day Nursery, Aylesbury, HP18 1BB.

Contract: Permanent. Hours: 0 per week, 52 weeks per year.

Salary: £12.87-£14.33 per hour.

Working pattern: Varied, ad hoc shifts between 07:30-18:30, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience caring for babies and children aged five and under, ideally in an early years environment.
• DfE approved early years qualification at level2 or above is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of child development and EYFS principles to implement engaging activities and support learning through play.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to creating a safe, valued and happy environment for all children.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
