Are you someone who takes pride in a job well done? Do you enjoy creating clean, welcoming spaces where others can thrive? If so, we'd love you to join our friendly cleaning team at The Kimberley School.

We're a vibrant and caring school where every child is encouraged to achieve their very best. Behind the scenes, our cleaning team plays a huge part in making that possible - keeping our school and sports centre spotless, safe and ready for learning and fun every day.

This is a flexible and rewarding role - perfect for those who want to fit work around other commitments. We have a variety of shift options available, including:

  • Early mornings (from 5:00am weekdays / 6:00am weekends)
  • Afternoons/Evenings (typically 3:30pm-5:30pm but with flexibility to work shifts between 3.30-10.00pm)

Whether you're an early bird or prefer later shifts, we can find hours to suit you!

We're looking for people who are:

  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Proud of their work and attention to detail
  • Able to work well independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible and ready to make a real difference to our school community

In return, you'll join a supportive team that values your contribution and provides a welcoming environment where your work truly matters.

On the application form, please focus on a detailed 'supporting statement' taking into account the person specification and indicating why you would be the best person for us to recruit to this position.

If you'd like to find out more or arrange a visit, please contact Wendy Bellamy in the school office or - we'd love to show you around!

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safeguarding checks will be undertaken during the recruitment process and this may include online searches.

We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 9:00am on Monday 13th July 2026

Interviews to be held shortly after this date.

We reserve the right to interview suitable candidates prior to that date. Should this prove successful we may close to new applicants earlier so please don't delay in submitting your application.
