Nearby Locations: Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Stoke on Trent, Stafford. Shifts: Mixture of full-time and part-time shifts.

Full-time: 39 hours a week, shifts across 7 days from 6/7am till 2/3pm and 11am till 8pm.

Part-time weekends: 11am till 8/9pm and 7am till 3pm.

Pay rates: £17.50 p/h Monday to Friday; up to £25 on weekends. Must commit to all ongoing shifts.

Contract: Ongoing full-time & part-time position, weekly pay.

Blue Arrow Stoke on Trent is seeking experienced chefs up to CDP level to support clients in Stafford, Telford, Shropshire and Stoke on Trent during summer periods. Chefs will work in leisure & hospitality environments, national sports centres, events businesses & hotels, providing food for conferences and banqueting events.

As a Chef de Partie you will:

• Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard.
• Work within a team of chefs and report to the sous/head chef.
• Clean down the kitchen and maintain a clean-as-you-go policy.
• Adhere to all food and health and safety regulations on site.
• Complete all paperwork on site and due diligence.
• Run your own section for food service.

Requirements and skills:

• Previous experience as a chef, at least up to senior chef de partie role.
• Flexibility in rotas - able to pick up extra shifts due to business needs.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Level 2 food hygiene certificate (ideal but not essential).
• Passion for food.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence required, with own access to a vehicle.
• Own chef whites and chef knives.

Commute:

For those with a car, onsite parking is available and locations are 40 minutes from Stoke on Trent and 20 minutes from Stafford. Overnight accommodation may be offered at the client's discretion.
