Role Overview

We are seeking a Reliability Engineering Team Manager to lead a small engineering team at a large manufacturing site in Scarborough. The successful candidate will drive maintenance improvements, reduce machinery downtime, oversee plant machinery performance, monitor machinery condition, advise on preventative actions, investigate machinery issues using root cause analysis, and propose solutions to prevent future breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of three engineers
• Implement maintenance improvements and monitor machinery condition
• Conduct root cause analysis on machinery issues
• Develop and recommend preventative maintenance strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance

Candidate Requirements

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Reliability Engineering related to plant machinery
• Proven engineering management experience in an FMCG environment
• Experience in root cause analysis
• Living in or near Scarborough
