Regulatory reporting analyst
Posted 6 hours 41 minutes ago by Greenberg Nielsen
Job description
At Brand New Day we tend to do things differently. We are not boring or bureaucratic like other banks or insurers. We're entrepreneurs, not traditional bankers. We want to build the best bank for long-term consumer savings and investments. In order to do that, we need the best people. We know this sounds like a marketing story. It isn't. We genuinely believe in doing things our own way and challenging the status quo. Not convinced? Come in for a coffee with our finance & regulatory reporting manager. Or speak to the teams and see for yourself.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a regulatory reporting team player who is not only able to meet deadlines and has the capability to analyze data and reports but also can liaise with other teams within Brand New Day to 'get the job done'.
Where will you be working?
You'll become part of a vibrant team of 11 colleagues, where fresh energy and seasoned experience go hand in hand.
Your role
- Making sure regulatory reports comply with IFRS standards and CRR/CRD
- Preparing liquidity reports (LCR, NSFR), prudential reports (FINREP, COREP), statistical reports (BSI, MIR) as well as other reports for our regulators
- Contributing to regulatory reporting projects, including the implementation of regulatory changes (e.g. CRR3/Basel IV) and the development of new reporting requirements
- Monitoring DLR (DNB reporting portal) for reporting deadlines
- Analysing reports generated by Wolters Kluwer's OneSumX
- Determining the impact from new assets/products together with internal stakeholders such as the ALM and Data teams and, last but not least, the Regulatory Reporting team
- Helping with the analysis on new OneSumX releases and, with the ALM and Data teams, the implementation of adjustments in reports
- Improving processes, including determining internal controls and KPIs
Job requirements
Your experience and skills
- Solid knowledge of regulatory reporting applications, preferably OneSumX
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with accounting standards (Dutch GAAP or IFRS) is a plus
- An understanding of CRR/CRD and experience with implementing new DPMS for regulatory reporting is also a plus
- Bachelor diploma with a minimum of two to three years of experience within Regulatory reporting
- Ability and willingness not only to grow together with Brand New Day but also in the changing field of regulatory reporting.
We offer
- A competitive salary
- Pension benefits and 25 days annual leave
- An informal organization without political games or hierarchical posturing
- A lot of independence and freedom to work to the max of your ability
- Opportunities for personal and professional development
- A work from home policy
- Good accessibility (we are within walking distance of Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station)
- Trainings or courses to stay up-to-date in your field (€ 1.000 per year)
- € 25 per month to use any way you like via the Alleo platform
- A nice office, fun drinks and great parties
Please note that while working from home is totally fine, working closely together in person is also important to us. We are looking for someone who lives in the Netherlands and can join us in the office for at least a couple of days a week.
