The project:

Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Regulatory Portfolio Manager to join their team.

Regulatory Portfolio Responsibilities

Regulatory Project Reporting

• Lead and coordinate the regulatory project reporting process.
• Initiate and manage communication and change management across tribes and functions.
• Create and maintain a regulatory community with regular check-ins.
• Attend Regulatory Boards for significant or problematic projects.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Watch teams to define and track regulatory project scope and ownership.
• Participate in Regulatory Watch Committees (e.g. NLC), register/archive owners.
• Quarterly data collection from project owners using standardized templates.
• Identify and analyze problematic projects.
• Cross-verify data with expert/control functions for an independent view.
• Consolidate data into Executive Board (ExBo/ExCo) presentations.

Regulatory Dependency Check Process

• Create and maintain the Regulatory Dependency Checklist.
• Implement and communicate the process bank-wide.
• Conduct annual dependency checks for new initiatives (pre-SAP).
• Ensure new initiatives undergo the regulatory dependency check.
• Notify regulatory owners of any detected dependencies.

Business / Function Portfolio Responsibilities

1) Portfolio Management for Segment or Function

• Support Segment or Function MTs in defining strategic objectives and related initiatives.
• Facilitate prioritization and decision-making processes.
• Maintain and update Strategic Axis roadmaps.
• Assist in preparing for quarterly bank-wide Transformation Steering (ExCo level).

2) Initiative Oversight

• Ensure initiatives align with strategic objectives.
• Monitor initiative progress, dependencies, and consistency.
• Identify key risks and collaborate with Constructs to define mitigation actions.

3) Collaboration and Strategic Review

• Work closely with CIO Office and Finance to align roadmaps with bank strategy.
• Escalate relevant issues for inclusion in quarterly strategic steering preparations.

4) Portfolio Tooling Support

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standalone portfolio tools.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (including Macros) required.

Is this you?

• English: Fluent
• Dutch: Proficient in speaking or solid understanding when French is proficient
• French: Proficient in speaking or solid understanding when Dutch is proficien
• Master degree in Law, Management, Economics,
• Agile and project management certification is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Past experience in PMO, management of large programs,
• Demonstrate full autonomy in Powerpoint
• Very strong Excel skills
• Broad knowledge of the banking / Financial services sector,
• Experience with regulation / regulatory projects
• Sufficiently senior to work at Exco N-1 & senior management level
• Strong communicator, diplomatic and customer-oriented
• Ability to work in co-creation, collaborative mode
• Structured approach and goal-oriented
