  • Ensure that all proposed product claims are substantiated and legally compliant
  • Manage the regulatory testing programme for both new and existing products, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating all testing with external laboratories.
  • Investigate any failed testing results and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions
  • Create and maintain technical files, declarations, certificates of conformities, and any other regulatory documentation required for market access and compliance
  • Maintain and manage the company's Restricted Substances List (RSL), ensuring it is clearly communicated to suppliers, and that ongoing compliance is monitored and supported.
  • Maintain and manage the approved materials database, ensuring all material documentation is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.
  • Monitor changes in global regulatory landscapes and inform stakeholders of their potential impact
  • Support incident response relating to regulatory non-compliance, including documentation and resolution tracking
  • Support compliance with product-related sustainability and environmental regulations (e.g., UK Green Claims Code, ECO Claims guidelines)

What we need from you:

  • Degree in a scientific or technical discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs)
  • 2+ years' industry experience in regulatory compliance, ideally within consumer products or a related field
  • Knowledge of UK, EU, US, and Australian regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting product testing, documentation, and artwork compliance
  • High attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills
